Harpoon Winter Warmer

Harpoon Winter Warmer was the first seasonal beer we brewed and, as a matter of fact, it was one of the first seasonal beers in the country.  To this day, we still look forward to the first Winter Warmer bottling of the season as a sign of the approaching holidays.  From the label to the aroma to the flavor, it all reminds us of family get-togethers, and the beers that help make the holidays so festive.

From the Brewer – “Brewed since 1988, this beer has become a New England seasonal classic.  Cinnamon and nutmeg dominate the aroma.  The taste is a rich combination of the holiday spices and the hearty malt backbone.  There is a mild sweetness to the finish along with the lingering flavor of the spices.”

Hop Bitterness (IBU’s): 23
Alcohol by volume: 5.9%
Format: 12 oz. bottles

Left Hand Good Juju

Left-Hand-Good-JujuA little Juju voodoo – fresh ginger kisses the lithe malty body, copulating with the hop in this pale ale ancestor. Emancipate yourself from the dead of winter, none but the vernal equinox can free the light. A refreshing frivolity. Hey mon. Shuccha fwangaa! Better a witch doctor than a trouble maker. Quit yor’ bitchin’ an’ get to witchin’

From the Brewer – “Our beer is basically a pale ale brewed from a relative low gravity, with some of the hops which would normally be used in the beer replaced by freshly ground ginger root. The beer is light in body, lower in alcohol, has a distinct ginger aroma, and has a very crisp finish. It was initially brewed as a refreshing alternative to the plethora of wheat beers which are popular in the summertime. Popular demand turned it into a year round beer.”

Tenacious Traveler Seasonal Shandy

Tenacious-Traveler-Seasonal-ShandyDriven by thrills and chills, the Tenacious Traveler always set his sights a little higher than everyone else. When the Wright brothers were tinkering and still trying to get off the ground, our Tenacious Traveler was looking to the sky beyond.

After years of exhaustive effort, his spaceship finally sat ready. The Tenacious Traveler went through his checklist to make sure everything was in tiptop shape.

When TT, as we fondly call him, reached the word “libations,” he wondered, “What to bring? What to bring?” He experimented with various concoctions, and then he discovered just the right refreshing beverage to invigorate his spirits while in the dark depths of space.

A ginger shandy—the perfect combination of spice and sweetness! TT excitedly secured numerous bottles of the ginger shandy within easy reach, completed his final preparations, and began the countdown: 3, 2, 1

From the Brewer – “The Tenacious Traveler is invigorating, breaking from the norm of traditional Shandys. A persistent fellow with a spicy disposition, TT is a bright, vibrant wheat beer brewed with real ginger and clover honey that delivers the perfect balance between sweet and spice.
