Curious Traveler Lemon Shandy

Curious-Traveler-Lemon-Shandy

Driven by wanderlust and a desire for discovery, the Curious Traveler™ set out to explore the globe. Always fearlessly inquisitive, he relished opportunities to befriend other travelers and to experience cultures he had only previously imagined. He sampled their wares, their foods and most importantly their libations. Some were good. Some, not so much. Others were downright dangerous.

Many years into his travels, his pace slowed on a particularly sweltering day. He sought refuge in a small pub to escape the oppressive heat. Before he could even finish wiping his brow, the bartender handed him a glistening glass of ale. The Traveler took a liking to the invigorating lemon shandy concoction. “Quite a refresher!” he said gratefully.

The Traveler has never stopped exploring – in fact, he’s on the road this very day. Somewhere. Only one thing has changed: he now makes sure he orders a Shandy everywhere he goes.

We proudly present the Curious Traveler — an intriguing fellow.

From the Brewer – “Curious Traveler is our take on a classic European Shandy that has been brewed for generations. We started with an American craft wheat ale, which delivers a crisp, light body. We then added fresh lemon and just a touch of lime to bring out a bright, juicy citrus aroma and flavor. Simply, the Curious Traveler is “Quite a Refresher!”

Forbidden Traveler Apple Ale

Forbidden-Traveler-Apple-Ale

Driven by supernatural curiosity and ambition to unearth the explainable, the Forbidden Traveler probes the earth to uncover mysteries of the past. Shunning the bureaucracy of academia, F.T. sets his sights on those once-in-a-zillion lifetime finds that others dismiss as mere fantasy. F.T. concentrates his efforts on unearthing locations.

After years of exhaustive research, including many a dead-end, he recently found himself deep in the Congo, his team’s machetes barely able to cut a path through the dense foliage. Then finally, an opening. There before them was a lush, fertile valley, brimming with the most beautiful flora and fauna they had ever seen. In the middle of the valley was the most perfect apple tree with an enormous serpent hanging from the highest branch. Could it be true? Had he found the ultimate prize?

We proudly present the Forbidden Traveler — a crisp fellow with a taboo disposition.

From the Brewer – “Forbidden Traveler is a crisp, wheat beer made with real apple. Its bright effervescence will catch your eye, while its refreshing aroma will tempt your senses. It’s here for the picking, just take a sip.

Erie Brewing Derailed Black Cherry Ale

Cherry Inspired Cream Ale:  Sweet, tart cherry essence. creamy smooth finish. Cherry Blush.

From the Brewer – “Brewery folklore tells a story about a train engineer with a passion for the taste of Railbender Ale. With every stop he made in Erie came an equal number of stops at our brewery. One extended visit to our fermenter left the engineer in a rather befuddled state of mind. On his fateful trip out of Erie that evening, his train mysteriously derailed. The engineer swears that a huge black cherry tree had fallen across the tracks as the culprit. No such tree was ever found, but the front of the locomotive was spattered with hundreds of red spots. In tribute to this folklore our expert brewers introduce Derailed Black Cherry Ale – brewed with fresh sweet black cherries and the finest malted barley to create a truly cherrylicious ale. Please enjoy responsibly, as we would never want you to get derailed!
