In the year 2001, the Olde Saratoga Brewing Co. began brewing Kingfisher Premium Lager for the USA, joining three other countries worldwide who brew Kingfisher. Kingfisher Premium Lager is enjoyed in over 55 countries and is the world’s #1 selling Indian beer. Olde Saratoga Brewing is the sole brewery for Kingfisher in the Northeast United States.
Top on the list, however, is Master Brewer McErlean’s, fresh and delicious Saratoga Lager and Saratoga IPA brewed for the local region. The Saratoga Lager is a German/Austrian style Marzenbier, a reddish, coppery color with a full malt character, slightly sweet to the palate, and a lightly hopped finish. The Saratoga India Pale Ale (IPA) has a full citrus flavor using Cascade and Fuggles hops, along with a generous amount of Munich malt for that balanced flavor that makes Saratoga IPA so refreshingly delicious.
