From the Brewer – “Brewed for Bierproeflokaal In de Wildeman’s 25th Anniversary. This brand new brew is an unfiltered American IPA hopped with Citra and fermented with Saison yeast. It’s a variation of the Farmhouse IPA brewed in 2011 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the legendary Amsterdam taproom, In De Wildeman.”
Staying true to its name, Wildeman is a beast of a Farmhouse IPA and has a lot going on. Citrus and spice greet the nose, followed by sharp hop bitterness. Wildeman’s a great complement to bold, rich, and spicy dishes, like Schezuan and Thai proteins. It’s also great with dark chocolate, especially made with orange peel.
