The Third Shift name comes from a group of Miller/Coors brewers who experiment with recipes during their downtime at a brewery in Golden, Colo. They play around and they experiment and when they get it right and they all love something, they enter it into contests.
This is a gold medal winning beer brewed by a band of brewers whose passion for brewing doesn’t stop when the day shift is over.
Third Shift Amber Lager pours to a golden amber hue with a nose that is sweet with light spice. A moderate pour results in a nice head of foam that manages to stick around, maintaining a thin, white layer as you consume.
